X Games 11 brought out 5 of the top vert women skaters in the world to battle it out on the 13-foot monster half pipe built by Tim Payne and the boys. With CB in the contest, most if the time it's who gonna get second. Cara-Beth is just so consistent, she's tough to beat. All the girls skated their hearts out in the 30-minute jam. By the end everyone was wiped out. CB had her usual clean runs with big backside airs off the roll-in, liens and les twists over the hip and inverts to capture X Games Gold. Lyn-z was throwing big airs all around, a kickflip to fakie on the roll-in and even pulled a heelflip indy to fakie to take silver. Mimi skated great with stylish airs, backside and frontside inverts, which earned her the bronze. Jen O’Brien and Holly Lyons placed 4th and 5th respectively, and put in excellent efforts. Jen was getting some good amplitude off of the roll-in and pulled a backside ollie over the channel late in the contest. Holly worked the entire ramp with backside, frontside and indy airs.
